Full Moon in Capricorn 22nd June 01:07 UT 1°06’

OVERVIEW

Astrologically, a Full Moon in Capricorn brings an emphasis on career, discipline, and long-term planning. It encourages practical and strategic thinking, reflection on achievements, and balancing professional responsibilities with personal needs. While it promotes hard work and ambition, it also reminds us to maintain a healthy balance between different aspects of life.

WHAT THE PLANETS ARE DOING

When the Moon is Full it is always opposing the Sun.

This time the Moon in Capricorn opposes the Sun in Cancer

The Sun Venus and Mercury are all widely conjunct in Cancer opposite the Full Moon and all are in a square with Neptune.

Mercury in Cancer sextile Mars in Taurus

Neptune at 29°54’ squares the Capricorn Full Moon in a T square with the Sun.

Saturn is trining the asteroid Athena in Scorpio

Saturn in Pisces in opposition to the asteroid Juno in Virgo.

BUT WHAT DOES IT ALL MEAN?

Firstly we have to remind ourselves about the energies of the planet Saturn which rules Capricorn and even though Saturn who is grinding to a halt before turning retrograde on June 29th is only making two minor aspects during this Full Moon they count nevertheless.

The first aspect is Saturn trining the asteroid Athena in Scorpio and the second aspect is an opposition from Saturn in Pisces to the asteroid Juno in Virgo.

Asteroid Athena in astrology represents wisdom, strategic thinking, creative intelligence, and feminine strength.

Therefore there is an underlying support structure with this Full Moon helped by Athena’s trine to Saturn our planet of commitment and boundaries that truth and sensibility prevail with any decisions made around this time.

So combine that with Saturn's opposition to the Asteroid Juno who in astrology symbolizes marriage, committed partnerships, and the dynamics within these relationships. Therefore Juno’s influence helps illuminate the deeper desire for partnership and the importance of loyalty, equality, and mutual respect in building enduring bonds.

It’s as if these strong feminine energies including Saturn who is a feminine archetype despite Saturn's association to masculine energies in our consciousness. These strong feminine energies are underpinning this Full Moon inviting feminine consciousness to present us with an empathic, kind and structured decision-making around potential endings and significant changes in our close one-to-one relationships. This can be seen as a very adult approach to tough love.

WHAT ABOUT NEPTUNE’S ROLE IN THIS FULL MOON?

The main and major aspect of this Full Moon is the T square from Neptune at the anorectic degree of Pisces to the Full Moon in Capricorn and the Sun in Cancer conjunct both Venus our strong feminine archetype of attraction and acquisition apart from her association to love and relationships.  As a small astrological tip always look to the asteroid Juno if you're looking for love and relationship. Venus is the higher octave representing our love for accruement and ensuring we have the right tools in our kit to give us self-worth.

So Venus and Mercury our planet of communication are conjunct with the Sun in Cancer and Mercury’s influence helps shape our mental faculties and the way we connect with the world around us. Venus in this instance is more concerned with the security of the home and family in these turbulent times with the current Planetary climate of worldwide change through numerous elections. Let alone the dangerous war zones currently in play. The square from Neptune represents a range of mystical, spiritual, and illusionary aspects and is associated with dreams, intuition, and the transcendence of the material world. Neptune’s influence is often subtle but profound, impacting our perceptions, ideals, and sense of reality.  Neptune in Pisces and the Sun in Cancer highlight the element of water reminding us that this powerful element should always be respected and the Full Moon could bring the danger of flooding and or problems at sea.

Neptune’s influence in this Full Moon cannot be underestimated, with its position at the end of the Zodiac wheel where it will hover for the next two years before fully moving into Aries interestingly hand in hand with Saturn. Interestingly Neptune in astrology embodies feminine energy through its association with water, intuition, sensitivity, spirituality, and creativity. This characterization highlights its role in fostering emotional depth, compassion, and a connection to the mystical and transcendental realms. And these are the qualities being highlighted by the square to the Full Moon as a warning to not lose sight of our compassion and empathy. This theme will become ever stronger over the next two years as Neptune’s influence builds and increases in power and implores us to become immersed in a symbiotic relationship with Neptune’s abilities to connect us to the higher frequencies to empower us to transcend the darker energies that wish to return our planet to how it was several hundred years ago.

IN SUMMARY

The rise of the Divine Feminine was never going to have an easy ride and this Full Moon presents us with the cold harsh truth of the direction the dark shadow energy on our planet wishes to take us. So use the austere energy of Capricorn to soften your rigidity through Neptune’s presence and stay aware that if the Divine Feminine is struggling it's because the shadow side is being slowly broken down.  Things are always darkest before the dawn.

Finally, Duality is always going to be part of life. Light, Dark, Sun rise, Sun set there will always be a shadow but the collective shadow needs to grow up! To become a healthy and inquiring opposition for us all to challenge ourselves in a constructive way to enable us to all grow and embrace a positive future built on love kindness and the ability to help others rise rather than trample on them in our efforts to succeed.
