Secret Peek at my Jewellery Collection

Many of you have commented on the fabulous jewellery I wear when I am talking to you, so I wanted to share this video in conversation with Tara of Tara Lois Jewellery, who designed and hand-made most of the jewellery you see me wearing.
Tara understood what I wanted immediately after I arrived with a handful of old jewellery, which was either too small, broken or a style I never wore. But amongst these pieces were some heirlooms which had really special memories for me.
Working with Tara is so special. She understood which pieces were sentimental after asking me the stories behind the jewellery, who had owned it, my recollection of seeing someone special wearing it.
The new designs are exclusively created to suit my personality and character, and the longer we have worked together this trust has grown and even her first designs anticipate exactly what I wanted. Take a look at how she combined an old diamond ring and an amethyst pendant to make an award winning ring for me.
Luckily, Tara is not only a designer but she is also a trained jeweller, so with her wide range of skills, she is able to create her designs. Of course when she recycles old jewellery, the materials are sustainable, but she also works in a completely environmentally friendly workshop to help mother earth.
After working together for 4 years, I have even asked Tara to redesign some of the pieces she made for me in the past. Not because the first designs weren’t great but because I wanted something a bit different. So if you have noticed, I had 1 ring which she altered twice and is now a necklace. Tara reminds me that I once said, “What is the point in having a personal jeweller if I can’t change my mind”. We change and grow constantly and so does my Tara Lois Jewellery collection.
